NTT Product Manager salary structure and compensation components chart for 2025

Three accessible first-party 2026 NTT DATA U.S. postings provide the clearest salary benchmarks. An AI Product Manager role publishes $78,948-$131,700, a Senior Product Manager for AI and Enterprise Solutions role publishes $129,750-$216,250, and a Senior GTM Product Manager role publishes $114,000-$212,000.

These are role-specific starting-pay ranges described as minimum and maximum target compensation, not one NTT-wide ladder. The AI role requires onsite work in New York City or Dallas despite conflicting remote language; the two senior roles have different product-lifecycle and commercialization remits. Both AI roles are filled. The direct Workday record for the senior GTM role remains application-enabled while NTT's consolidated page says filled. Confirm that role's status and whether any quoted range means base salary or another target-cash measure.

NTT DATA Product Manager salary benchmarks in 2026

Role and source Published starting pay Scope and interpretation
AI Product Manager, req. 369449 $78,948-$131,700 Recent NTT DATA Services posting dated July 31. It asks for 10-15 years of experience with significant PM exposure and at least 5 years leading AI, ML, or cloud product initiatives. The visible legacy Apply control redirects to the careers home, and the consolidated page says filled.
Senior Product Manager, AI & Enterprise Solutions, req. 380019 $129,750-$216,250 Recent NTT DATA Services posting dated August 7. The Dallas remote role asks for 8+ years in IT and product lifecycle work. Its consolidated page says filled, so use it as recent evidence, not an open-role promise.
Senior GTM Product Manager, Software Defined Infrastructure Services, req. R-145767 $114,000-$212,000 Direct record in the former NTT Ltd Workday stream asking for 8+ years across product management, offer management, product marketing, GTM strategy, or technology-services commercialization. It lists remote U.S. locations and a North America remit, but does not name the payroll employer. NTT's consolidated page says filled, so confirm availability.
Visible Product Manager level row on Levels.fyi $113,000 base; $113,000 total Directional employee-reported row accessed August 16, 2026. Public submission details are hidden, so it is not an employer-authored band, an independently auditable average, or an offer cutoff.

The official ranges overlap, but that does not mean every senior PM can expect more than $200,000. The roles differ in product type, commercial accountability, work arrangement, experience, and location coverage. Use the exact requisition as the primary comparison.

Levels.fyi's visible Product Manager level row reports $113,000 in base salary and $113,000 in total compensation, with $0 shown for bonus and stock. That row is useful only as a directional cross-check. It does not prove that NTT DATA offers no incentive or equity. The same page gives conflicting median totals of $133,000 in its summary and $129,000 in its FAQ, so this guide does not use either median as a precise benchmark.

How the roles differ

AI Product Manager

The AI Product Manager owns strategy, roadmap, requirements, evaluation frameworks, safety, reliability, data strategy, and product metrics for agentic AI systems. The posting asks for 10-15 years of experience with significant product-management exposure, including at least 5 years leading large AI, ML, or cloud initiatives.

The page says the person will work onsite five days a week in New York City or Dallas. Its compensation paragraph calls the role remote, creating a direct conflict. Treat the onsite requirement as the operational description and ask the recruiter to resolve the work model in writing.

Senior Product Manager, AI & Enterprise Solutions

The recent senior AI role covers strategy, lifecycle execution, AI-enabled enterprise products, stakeholder alignment, and product operating practices. It asks for at least 8 years in IT with product-management, Product Owner, business-analysis, or delivery experience, plus extensive enterprise-software lifecycle experience. The posting labels the role remote and ties it to Dallas.

Its $129,750-$216,250 range is the closest senior exact-title comparison in this guide, but the consolidated career page says the role is filled. It is useful historical evidence for a similarly scoped requisition, not proof of a current opening or a universal Senior PM band.

Senior GTM Product Manager

The senior GTM role focuses on software-defined infrastructure services across North America. Its remit includes positioning, launch, lifecycle management, sales enablement, partner alignment, pricing support, pipeline contribution, and revenue realization. The posting asks for 8+ years across product, offer, product-marketing, GTM, or commercialization work and lists remote locations in North Carolina, Michigan, New York, Florida, and Texas.

The senior GTM role is not simply the next step above either AI role. It centers on commercialization and go-to-market leadership rather than only technical product delivery. Compare the decision rights and expected outcomes, not just the public titles.

Starting pay, incentive, retirement, and benefits

Component What the accessible NTT DATA postings establish How to value it
Starting pay $78,948-$131,700 for the AI role, $129,750-$216,250 for the senior AI role, and $114,000-$212,000 for senior GTM Ask whether the range is base salary or target cash, then compare the written offer with the exact requisition.
Annual incentive The AI and senior GTM postings say the role may be eligible based on individual and/or company performance; the senior AI page does not state incentive eligibility Exclude it from dependable cash until target, measures, payout history, proration, and eligibility are documented.
Employer stock award None of the three postings states a grant, value, or vesting schedule Treat equity as not established, not as $0. Count it only from an award agreement.
401(k) All three postings list a 401(k) program with company match The match rate, contribution requirement, eligibility, and vesting are not published. Do not assign a dollar value yet.
Health and protection benefits The postings list medical, dental, and vision coverage with an employer contribution, FSA or HSA access, life and AD&D, disability coverage, PTO, and employee assistance Confirm plan eligibility, employee premiums, deductibles, coverage dates, and the terms attached to the employing entity.

Incentive compensation

The AI and senior GTM pages say incentive compensation may be available. They do not publish a target percentage, threshold, cap, performance weighting, payment date, or recent payout. The senior AI page does not state incentive eligibility. A possible bonus should not replace recurring salary in an offer comparison.

Ask whether the range shown on the posting excludes the incentive. The unusual phrase "starting pay range" followed by "target compensation" is not precise enough to settle that question without the offer or plan document.

Equity

Do not assume that NTT DATA Product Managers receive RSUs, stock options, or a standard four-year grant. None of the three accessible roles publishes an employer-funded equity award. Levels.fyi's visible Product Manager row also shows $0 stock, but its thin public data cannot establish company policy. If a recruiter mentions equity or a long-term incentive, request the award type, grant value, vesting, refresh policy, and forfeiture rules in writing.

Retirement and other benefits

The accessible role pages confirm a company match within a 401(k) program but do not state the formula. That supports asking for the plan document, not assuming a particular match percentage. Keep any eventual retirement match separate from annual cash compensation.

Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, PTO, and employee-assistance benefits are listed for all three roles. Exact eligibility and cost can depend on the legal employer and plan. Confirm those terms rather than applying benefits from the Japanese parent or another NTT subsidiary.

Worked NTT DATA offer example

The midpoint of the AI Product Manager's published starting-pay range is $105,324:

($78,948 + $131,700) / 2 = $105,324

Component Amount used Why
Hypothetical starting pay $105,324 Arithmetic midpoint of one recent requisition, not an expected offer
Annual incentive Not stated; excluded Eligibility is possible, but the target and payout terms are unpublished
Employer stock award Not stated; excluded No grant appears in the posting
401(k) match Not quantified; excluded A match is listed, but the formula and eligibility are not
Hypothetical pay amount used for comparison $105,324 Starting-pay midpoint only, subject to the actual offer and ongoing employment

This example is not a total-compensation estimate. Before using $105,324 as a comparison point, confirm that NTT DATA treats the posting's range as base salary. The midpoint of the senior GTM range is $163,000, but its broader commercial scope means it is not a like-for-like alternative to the AI role.

How to evaluate an NTT DATA Product Manager offer

Offer check What to verify
Role identity Exact public requisition, internal level, product versus GTM scope, and individual-contributor versus people-leader responsibility
Recurring salary Approved range, whether it is base or target cash, work location, and reason for placement within the range
Incentive Eligibility, target, measures, recent payout history, proration, payment date, and whether payout can be zero
Equity or LTI Whether this exact role receives an award, plus grant value, instrument, vesting, refresh, and forfeiture terms
Retirement Employing entity, current plan document, match formula, contribution required, eligibility date, and vesting
Work arrangement Required office days, approved remote states, travel, client-site expectations, and whether the arrangement can change
Benefits Employee premiums, deductibles, PTO, disability, leave, coverage start dates, and dependent costs

An offer near $130,000 could sit close to the top of the AI posting yet near the lower portion of the senior GTM posting. That difference is useful only after matching the role. Do not benchmark a technical AI PM offer against a commercial GTM role without accounting for scope, location, and experience.

Negotiation priorities

  1. Clarify the pay definition. Ask whether the published target-compensation range is base salary, target cash, or another measure.
  2. Anchor to the exact requisition. Use the role's own range before bringing in employee-reported data or another NTT DATA job.
  3. Show role-specific impact. For AI work, quantify production reliability, model cost, latency, safety, adoption, or incident reduction. For GTM work, quantify pipeline, attach rate, win rate, launch adoption, or revenue.
  4. Prioritize recurring salary. Do not trade documented pay for an incentive whose target and payout history are unknown.
  5. Resolve the work model. The AI posting contains onsite-versus-remote wording that should be corrected in the offer.
  6. Request all variable terms. Get incentive and any LTI details in writing, including first-year proration and active-employment rules.
  7. Verify the employing entity. NTT DATA is part of the wider NTT Group, but pay and benefit terms may differ across entities and countries.
  8. Ask about one-time levers without assuming them. If salary flexibility is limited, ask whether a sign-on payment is available; do not treat one as standard.

Questions to ask the recruiter

  • What is the approved starting-pay range for this requisition, and does it mean base salary or total target cash?
  • What internal job level applies, and which roles are the closest compensation peers?
  • Which legal entity will employ me, and which benefit plans apply?
  • What worksite, remote-state list, office schedule, and travel requirement will appear in the offer?
  • What is the annual incentive target, and can the payout be zero?
  • Which individual and company measures determine the incentive?
  • Is the first-year incentive prorated, and when must I be employed to receive it?
  • Does this exact role include employer-funded equity or another long-term incentive?
  • What contribution is required for the full 401(k) match, and when do eligibility and vesting begin?
  • What are the employee premiums, deductibles, PTO terms, leave benefits, and coverage start dates?
  • Can a client assignment or location change affect pay or the work arrangement?
  • When is the first compensation review after joining?

Data note

Checked August 16, 2026. NTT DATA Services' AI postings were filled; former NTT Ltd Workday R-145767 omitted its employer and conflicted on status. Ranges are role-specific target compensation; bonus targets, equity, and the 401(k) formula are unpublished. FY2026 Q3 LCA: 346 exact NTT-brand rows. The sole Product-title record was Certified case I-200-25315-396832 for NTT Ltd Group Services America, Inc.'s Director, 5G Solution Architecture & Product Management, $171,766-$250,000 per year in Ellicott City, decided November 18, 2025. That different entity and role is not an NTT DATA PM band. PERM: 61 exact NTT-brand rows, zero Product titles. Parent NTT and other subsidiaries are excluded from the role benchmarks.
