Product Manager Salary Guide Compensation Sodexo Food Services Facilities Management
Sodexo Product Manager salary ranges and compensation factors illustrated in a detailed infographic

Sodexo's closest current U.S. salary references for product-adjacent work are $100,130 to $155,540 for Solution Designer II, $115,940 to $180,070 for Solution Designer III, and $134,640 to $209,110 for Director, Solution Design. These roles turn client needs into commercial service solutions and roadmaps. They are not software Product Manager levels, so the ranges do not form a Sodexo PM salary band.

Sodexo's current U.S. salaried search does not list an exact Product Manager role with a public range. For a new PM offer, ask for the requisition's approved base range and internal grade before judging the number. Do not assume a bonus target, equity grant, location adjustment, or promotion ladder. Count those components only when the written offer or applicable plan document defines them.

Sodexo Product Manager salary at a glance

Current U.S. role Posted base range How to use it
Solution Designer II $100,130 to $155,540 Adjacent commercial solution-design comparison, not a PM level
Solution Designer III $115,940 to $180,070 More experienced solution-design comparison, not a Senior PM band
Director, Solution Design $134,640 to $209,110 People and commercial leadership comparison, not a Product Director band

All three postings carry U.S. telecommute metadata and list specific cities. Each says the employee is eligible for Sodexo's incentive plan and variable compensation in addition to base salary, but none publishes a target percentage or payout formula.

The postings do not explain why the ranges overlap. Their titles, scopes, experience requirements, service domains, and listed locations differ. Do not convert them into an Associate PM to Director ladder.

What the current roles actually cover

Solution Designer II

The current Solution Designer II role lists $100,130 to $155,540 in base salary. It asks for a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least three years of related experience, and at least one year of related management experience.

The work centers on commercial solution design, facilities-management costing, proposal support, and executable solution roadmaps for outsourced services. That has some overlap with product discovery and business cases, but it is not evidence of a Sodexo Product Manager level.

Solution Designer III

The current Solution Designer III role lists $115,940 to $180,070 in base salary. It asks for a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of related functional experience, and at least three years of related management experience.

The role uses consumer trends, operational assessments, financial analysis, proposal design, and client roadmaps. Use its range only when a PM offer has comparable commercial ownership, experience, and location terms.

Director, Solution Design

The current Director, Solution Design role lists $134,640 to $209,110 in base salary. It asks for eight years of related experience and five years of management experience. The role leads a team, sets priorities and capacity, and owns solution quality for large commercial pursuits.

This is a leadership benchmark for solution design. It should not be used to value an individual-contributor Product Manager or to infer a Sodexo Director of Product range.

How Sodexo total compensation works

The written offer and applicable plan documents determine which components apply.

Component How to evaluate it in your offer
Base salary Request the range for the exact requisition, internal grade, legal employer, and approved location
Annual incentive Confirm eligibility, target percentage, measures, proration, payout timing, and recent payout history in writing
Equity or long-term incentive Do not assume an award; require the grant value, instrument, vesting, liquidity, and termination terms in the offer
Retirement Request the current 401(k) match formula, eligibility date, and vesting terms
Health benefits Compare employee premiums, deductibles, coverage, and eligibility for medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, HSA, and FSA options
Paid time off and leave Confirm the vacation, sick, holiday, care-leave, and other paid-time-off rules for the role
Sign-on or relocation payment Treat it as first-year compensation and check any repayment clause
Tuition reimbursement Verify eligibility, annual limits, approved programs, and the service requirement

Sodexo's current U.S. benefits page lists four national health-plan options with integrated pharmacy benefits, dental and vision plans, an employee assistance program, HSA and FSA options, a 401(k) with matching contributions, and paid-time-off programs. The page also says tuition reimbursement becomes available after the first year. Eligibility and plan terms can vary, so request the documents for the exact role.

The page lists basic life insurance equal to one year of salary for eligible full-time employees and business-travel accident coverage for salaried employees. These benefits can be valuable, but they are not substitutes for a missing bonus target or salary range.

A worked compensation example

The midpoint of the current Solution Designer III range is:

($115,940 + $180,070) / 2 = $148,005

If a written offer for that exact role states a $148,005 base salary but does not state the incentive target or equity value, the only quantified recurring cash amount is $148,005. The monthly base equivalent is $12,333.75 before tax and deductions.

Component Value supported by that hypothetical offer
Annual base salary $148,005
Incentive target Not stated; excluded from calculation
Equity or long-term incentive Not stated; excluded from calculation
Quantified recurring base pay $148,005

This is arithmetic for the named Solution Designer III range, not a Sodexo Product Manager target. If the recruiter supplies an incentive target, calculate target cash separately and model a zero-payout case because variable compensation is not guaranteed.

How to evaluate a Sodexo PM offer

Start with the exact requisition

Ask for the approved range and internal grade attached to the PM opening. A title in a recruiter message is not enough. Confirm whether the role owns a digital product, a client solution, an internal platform, a service offering, or a portfolio.

Use adjacent ranges only as a reasonableness check

The three current ranges can help frame a conversation when responsibilities overlap, but none supplies an offer-quality cutoff for Product Managers. A $150,000 PM offer cannot be called strong or weak from these ranges alone.

If the company says the PM role shares a grade with one of these postings, ask it to confirm that connection and explain where the offer sits in the shared range. Otherwise, treat the comparison as directional.

Separate recurring and at-risk pay

Compare guaranteed base salary first. Add a bonus only after the target and eligibility are written. Model payout at zero, target, and any documented upside. Include equity or a long-term incentive only when the instrument, value, vesting, liquidity, and termination terms are clear.

Check the work-location rule

The current solution-design postings carry telecommute metadata and list specific U.S. cities. That does not establish a company-wide remote-pay policy or city premium. Ask which location sets the range, how often travel is required, and whether moving changes compensation.

What should not be carried into a 2026 offer comparison

Do not use an invented Associate PM, PM, Senior PM, Principal PM, and Director ladder. Current public sources do not establish those levels at Sodexo.

Do not assume any of the following:

  • a 10% to 30% bonus target;
  • stock options, RSUs, or a four-year vesting schedule;
  • a fixed metropolitan salary premium or local-cost remote formula;
  • standard promotion raises or promotion timing;
  • automatic sign-on, relocation, or professional-development payments; or
  • an annual or off-cycle salary-review policy for every PM.

The current U.S. roles above mention incentive eligibility and benefits, not an equity grant.

How to negotiate a Sodexo Product Manager offer

  1. Request the approved salary range. Ask for the minimum, midpoint, maximum, internal grade, and location attached to the exact requisition.
  2. Define the role before choosing a benchmark. Clarify product ownership, commercial responsibility, budget authority, team leadership, and whether the role is product management or solution design.
  3. Use matched scope. Tie your request to relevant product delivery, client economics, roadmap ownership, analytics, regulated-service experience, or cross-functional leadership.
  4. Clarify variable compensation. Ask for the target, measures, proration, payout timing, and recent payout history.
  5. Verify any equity or long-term incentive. Request the instrument, value, vesting, liquidity, and termination treatment in writing.
  6. Confirm the legal employer and business. Sodexo, Entegra, Sodexo Live!, and other businesses can use different roles and plans.
  7. Confirm location and travel. Ask which worksite sets pay and whether telecommute, office attendance, or travel expectations can change.
  8. Review benefits and one-time terms. Request the current retirement, health, leave, tuition, sign-on, and relocation documents before comparing total value.

A concise negotiation statement could be:

I am excited about the role. Before we finalize the offer, could you share the approved salary range and internal grade for this requisition? Based on my experience owning comparable roadmaps, financial outcomes, and cross-functional delivery, I would like to discuss placing the base in the upper half of that range. I would also like the incentive target, work-location terms, and benefits details in writing.

Use the range the recruiter provides. Do not quote a Solution Designer range as if it were a Product Manager band.

Questions to ask the recruiter

  • What approved base-salary range and internal grade apply to this requisition?
  • Where does the offer sit within the range, and which factors determine that position?
  • Which legal entity and Sodexo business employ the role?
  • Is the job product management, solution design, service development, or program management internally?
  • What product, portfolio, revenue, budget, and people responsibilities define the level?
  • Is the role eligible for an annual incentive? What are the target, measures, proration rules, and recent payout history?
  • Does the offer include equity or a long-term incentive? What are the grant, vesting, liquidity, and termination terms?
  • Which location determines salary, and can a move change pay?
  • What office, telecommute, and travel expectations apply?
  • What 401(k) match, eligibility, and vesting terms apply?
  • When do health, leave, and other benefits begin?
  • Is a sign-on payment or relocation assistance available, and is there a repayment clause?
  • When is the next regular compensation review?

Data note

The salary figures above are current U.S. base ranges for solution-design roles, not a company-wide Sodexo Product Manager range or total compensation. No exact Product Manager title appeared in Sodexo's current U.S. salaried openings or in the FY2026 Q3 Department of Labor LCA or PERM records for Sodexo, Inc. Benefits and incentive eligibility depend on the role and plan terms.
