FAQs

Find answers to common questions about this course and preparing for TPM-focused product interviews.

TPM PMs have a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of products within our ecosystem. Unlike some companies where PMs might be siloed, our structure encourages cross-pollination of ideas and strategies across different product lines.

While you don't need to code, a strong technical foundation is crucial. You should be comfortable discussing technical concepts with engineers and be able to make informed decisions about technical trade-offs.

TPM offers multiple growth paths. You can progress up the IC ladder to Principal PM or Director, or transition into people management roles. We also encourage lateral moves between product areas to broaden your expertise.

We have a robust PM development program including mentorship, regular training sessions, and a generous conference and education budget. PMs are encouraged to stay at the forefront of industry trends.

While the work can be demanding, TPM values work-life balance. We offer flexible work arrangements and focus on outcomes rather than hours worked. However, the pace is fast, and PMs need to be comfortable with some degree of ambiguity and occasional high-pressure situations.
