Introduction
Nubank offers two kinds of "investing" inside the same app. Caixinhas are savings boxes in NuConta with daily liquidity and a yield linked to the CDI, Brazil's interbank rate. NuInvest, built on Nubank's acquisition of Easynvest, offers CDBs, Treasury bonds (Tesouro Direto), fixed-income funds, stocks, ETFs and more. Many customers happily use Caixinhas but never open NuInvest. For them, the CDI-linked box feels "good enough" and investing feels complicated, risky or not for people like them.
The question: how would you improve NuInvest for customers who save in Caixinhas but have never invested? This matters because these customers have money with Nubank, trust the brand and are one step away from deeper financial relationships that are valuable for them (better long-term returns, diversification) and for Nubank (investment revenue, primary relationship).
Be careful not to push risky products. In Brazil, a good "first investment" is often fixed income that beats the box's yield for money the customer will not need soon.
